Week Calendar

One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.  

Storytime for children ages 2½-3½, accompanied by an adult. Stories, fingerplays, songs, a simple craft and time to play with toys! No registration.

Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Storytime for children ages 3-5! Stories, fingerplays, songs, and a craft or a short film. No registration.

Join the Children's Department for free play, story time, songs and more! This program is for children under age 3, with an adult. No registration required.

Are you interested in learning English? Do you want to practice your English pronunciation and conversation skills in a casual group setting?

Make a Halloween accessory you will cherish forever! Adults with previous knowledge of machine and hand sewing are invited to make a unique quilted witch hat with guidance from our staff!

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories! 

Curious about crochet but not sure where to start? This 4-week beginner-friendly class is the perfect way to dive in!

Join Librarian Cara and the Crafty Creatives Club for this week's craft: paper collage faces! Together we will use old picture books and magazines to put together fun paper faces and other collage art!

Join us on Wednesdays for a dedicated hour of quiet study time. Teens are invited to stop in to read, draw, catch up on homework or participate in other quiet activities while we play some soothing and relaxing chill beats in the background!
