Reading Areas at Jefferson
The Jefferson Branch Library offers a cozy atmosphere with chairs available to read by the windows. Tables and study areas are also available for use by the patron computers.
Events for Adults
In this two session workshop, you will make your own cute and quirky magnets to give your fridge personality! The first session will be sculpting, and the second will be painting and assembly. Registration required.

Short sessions with legal advisors at the library. Register to be assigned a 15-minute appointment with a lawyer; start times are 5:30, 5:45, 6:00, 6:15, and 6:30pm. Please plan to bring any relevant documentation to your session.
Mango Language Learning
Mango offers access to 70 foreign language courses and 20 English courses taught completely in the user’s native language. Mango is available at the Main Library and at the Jefferson Branch.

This resume and job hunting resource is available in the library as well as at home (will need a public library card to access from home). You can create your resume, upload it onto this database, and then receive a critique of it.

Printing & Copying
Printing is available for public use at the New Britain Public Library.
Copies are:
- 15 cents/per page for Black & White
- 25 cents/per page for Color
