Storytime for children ages 3-5! Stories, fingerplays, songs, and a craft or short film. No registration.
Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories!
One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.
Come and learn how to use chalk pastels to make stunning galaxy art! Together we will have a chance to practice our chalk pastel skills before making a piece of art to give to family, friends or keep for ourselves!

Come decorate a turkey cupcake at the New Britain Public Library! Cupcakes will be judged on their "turkeyness" by our Instagram and Facebook followers, and the "turkiest" cupcake will receive a prize!
Join us on Wednesdays for a dedicated hour of quiet study time. Teens are invited to stop in to read, draw, catch up on homework or participate in other quiet activities while we play some soothing and relaxing chill beats in the background!
