Storytime for children ages 3-5. Children will build their literacy skills with stories, fingerplays,
songs, and a craft or a short film. No registration.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
The New Britain Public Library (Main Library and Jefferson Branch) will be closed Wednesday, December 24th and Thursday, December 25th in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories!
One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.

Join us on Wednesdays for a dedicated hour of quiet study time. Teens are invited to stop in to read, draw, catch up on homework or participate in other quiet activities while we play some soothing and relaxing chill beats in the background!
