Come to the Jefferson Branch and join us for stories and music! This program is for kids ages 4 and under, with an adult.

($10/Preview-free to the NBPL Friends). 10 am-12 pm &12-2pm & 5-7pm: (Free admission). 

Join Librarian Cara to learn about Henri Matisse! Together we will look at some of his famous works to inspire us to create our own colorful art! This program is for kids of all ages, and no registration is required.

Listen to bedtime stories at the library! This program is best for children ages 3-8, and adults are welcome to listen along with their children. Enjoy stories and a short film or craft! No registration necessary.

The Homework Center is available for New Britain teens in grades 6 to 12 on Mondays and Wednesdays (except on holidays or school closures), from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

The Building Connections Book Club for Immigrants is for Advanced English learners who want to develop their English reading and communication skills in a diverse, inspiring and encouraging environment.
