Sign up for one of our four one-on-one Cricut sessions to get personalized training on the Cricut machine and software from our experienced staff! We will walk you through the basics and show you how to design/cut your own projects!

Join Power of Pawns, a kid-focused chess group! Starting with a lesson on how to play, and ending with plenty of time to face off against other participants, we hope to see you there!

One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.

Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Join Librarian Cara to try a different kind of painting while learning about gravity at the same time! Take your art home for a STEAM-centered holiday gift! This program is designed for kids ages 7-12.

Do you live or work in New Britain and want to improve your current job prospects or change careers? Learn about the FREE services and programs, which you may qualify for, that exist in the North Central Region of CT.

Do you enjoy trying new foods? Do you like trying new things and discussing them with others? Join us for cookbook club! All participants will choose a recipe from the chosen cookbook to share with the group!

Each month, we will discuss a music biography! Registration is required; copies of the selected book are available at the Jefferson Branch Library.
