Week Calendar

Come to the Jefferson Branch and join us for stories and music! This program is for kids ages 4 and under, with an adult.

Meet and learn about an animal from the Hungerford Nature Center, followed by storytime with Miss JoAnn!

Start your child on the road to reading! Storytime features reading aloud, songs and fingerplays. There is time for children and adults to play with toys and practice early literacy skills together.

Join Librarian Cara and Mr. Place to learn about different Black artists in history. We will have a story time, view and discuss art, and make our own projects inspired by what we learn!

If your child is interested in learning to play chess, join us for this child centered weekly chess workshop! Attendees will receive chess lessons as well as time to play against others their age.
