One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.

Join us for storytime for children ages 2½-3½, accompanied by an adult! Build your child’s early literacy skills (talking, singing, reading, playing and writing) with stories, fingerplays, songs, a simple craft and time to play with toys.

The New Britain Public Library and the American Job Center have partnered to continue our one-on-one Job Information and Career Resources sessions that will take place on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

songs, and a craft or a short film. No registration necessary.

Start your child on the road to reading! Storytime features reading aloud, songs and fingerplays. There is time for children and adults to play with toys and practice early literacy skills together.

New Britain residents looking for employment opportunities are invited to come by the main library to get FREE gently used business professional clothing and accessories!

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories!

The Homework Center is available for New Britain teens in grades 6 to 12 on Mondays and Wednesdays (except on holidays or school closures), from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Design and decorate your own canvas tote bag using fabric markers, stencils, and iron-on decals! Create something bold, aesthetic, or totally unique — your style, your rules!

Join the Teen Advisory Board and help create awesome events, recommend books, and improve the teen space at the library. TAB members also earn volunteer hours and have a say in what the library offers teens!
