Event Details

Join us for an educational presentation on autism (and neurodiversity) designed for younger children. The presenter, Jeremy Farrell, hopes to inspire curiosity about autism and other things that make kids seem “different.” Another goal of the presentation is to create a deeper understanding of how neurotypical and neurodivergent children are similar in many ways and should respect each other’s differences.

The presenter aims to reduce stigma, encourage curiosity, increase understanding, help build new and diverse friendships, and spark thought about topics that continue to be relevant. By talking about autism, the presenter explores what friendship means, even when it’s between people who don’t seem to understand each other at first.
