This workshop is designed as a community conversation to provide education on trauma and its impact on individuals, families, and neighborhoods. It is intended for adults and older teenagers (16+), educators, caregivers, and community members who wish to gain a deeper understanding of trauma and explore local options for healing and resilience.

Some learning outcomes from this presentation:

● A clear understanding of what trauma is and how it can affect mental, physical,
and relational health.
● Awareness of how poverty and instability can intensify trauma’s impact.
● Insight into the ways trauma can affect families across generations.
● Knowledge of treatment and support resources available locally.
● Greater confidence to seek support and build resilience.
