Join us for an exciting 8-week course that will guide young inventors through the process of invention and help bring their ideas to life!
 

Join us for the first session of our Beyblade Battle Club! We will have free play time to battle (bring your Beyblades and stadiums or use the library's limited supply). Come battle some Beyblades and meet some new friends!

For adults with some knowledge of machine and hand sewing – Stop by and make a pouch to hold your lunchbox cutlery!

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories! 

One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.  

Join Librarian Cara for this week's Crafty Creatives Club. If you love sea creatures and the ocean, this one is for you! This week we will create beautiful jellyfish artwork with chalk pastels!

Introducing the NBPL Crochet Club!

Are you interested in learning English? Do you want to practice your English pronunciation and conversation skills in a casual group setting?

Stop by the Children's Room and show off your Lego building skills during our Lego free play! The tallest tower, a magical castle or a seafaring ship- we want to see the craziest creations you can make!

For adults with intermediate knowledge of crochet (how to work in the round, as well as knowledge of different stitches) – Follow along with us as we crochet a flower pot fridge magnet!

Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

This adventurous mini slime devours all things that sparkle and shine! Level up your slime at our upgrade station to make it smooth or fluffy.

Join us all summer long for weekly video game tournaments! This week we'll be playing ARMS. First place will win a small prize! This event is intended for ages 12 and up. 

Come decorate and label your children’s (or your own!) folders, notebooks, and other school supplies for the upcoming school year!
