Come to the library for our Spring Local Author and Artist Craft Fair! This event is just in time to begin shopping for Mother's Day gifts!

Join us for this monthly book club where we discuss books that have been banned or have been requested to be removed from public libraries or school libraries. 

Come to the Jefferson Branch Library and join us for stories and music! This program is for kids ages 4 and under, with an adult.

One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.

Come out to storytime for children ages 2½-3½, accompanied by an adult! Build your child’s early literacy skills (talking, singing, reading, playing and writing) with stories, fingerplays, songs, a simple craft and time to play with toys!

The Homework Center is available for New Britain teens in grades 6 to 12 on Mondays and Wednesdays (except on holidays or school closures), from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

The New Britain Public Library and the American Job Center have partnered to continue our one-on-one Job Information and Career Resources sessions that will take place on the second and fourth Monday of each month.

The Building Connections Book Club for Immigrants is for Advanced English learners who want to develop their English reading and communication skills in a diverse, inspiring and encouraging environment.

Come to storytime for children ages 3-5. Children will build their literacy skills with stories, fingerplays, songs, and a craft or a short film! No registration necessary.

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories!
