One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.

Come out to storytime for children ages 2½-3½, accompanied by an adult! Build your child’s early literacy skills (talking, singing, reading, playing and writing) with stories, fingerplays, songs, a simple craft and time to play with toys.

The New Britain Public Library and the American Job Center have partnered to continue our one-on-one Job Information and Career Resources sessions that will take place on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

Discover how to roll, shape, and glue paper strips to create beautiful, textured designs!

The Homework Center is available for New Britain teens in grades 6 to 12 on Mondays and Wednesdays (except on holidays or school closures), from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Join the Teen Advisory Board and help create awesome events, recommend books, and improve the teen space at the library. TAB members also earn volunteer hours and have a say in what the library offers teens!

All materials will be provided. Please note that pick up of your tote bag will need to be arranged with staff following the workshop. 

This presentation will discuss two effective paths to autistic empowerment: Self Advocacy and Open Communication. Each must be addressed and understood in their own way, though they also compliment each other.

Listen to bedtime stories at the library! This program is best for children ages 3-8, and adults are welcome to listen along with their children. Enjoy stories and a short film or craft. No registration necessary.
