Come to the Jefferson Branch and join us for stories and music! This program is for kids ages 4 and under, with an adult.

Join us for storytime for children ages 3-5! Children will build their literacy skills with stories, fingerplays,
songs, and a craft or a short film. No registration necessary.

New Britain residents looking for employment opportunities are invited to come by the main library to get FREE gently used business professional clothing and accessories!

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories! 

Join us for this monthly book club where we discuss books that have been banned or have been requested to be removed from public libraries or school libraries. 

One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.

Join the cozy relationship book club at the Jefferson Branch Library. Each month we will be reading a new book; it might be about romance, families, or friendship! Either way, let's have some fun!

The Homework Center is available for New Britain teens in grades 6 to 12 on Mondays and Wednesdays (except on holidays or school closures), from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Join Librarian Cara to learn about this month's Amazing Artist, Frida Kahlo! Together we will look at some of Kahlo's famous works and make our own art inspired by hers!
