Introducing the NBPL Crochet Club!

Short sessions with legal advisors at the library. Register to be assigned a 15-minute appointment with a lawyer; start times are 5:30, 5:45, 6:00, 6:15, and 6:30pm. Please plan to bring any relevant documentation to your session.

Join us for session 2 of making a stand-out Halloween decoration! (Note: Prior registration and attendance at session 1 is required.) 

Are you interested in learning English? Do you want to practice your English pronunciation and conversation skills in a casual group setting?

The Department of Revenue Services (DRS) will be available to answer questions related to Connecticut taxes.

One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.  

Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Want to learn to machine and hand sew but don’t know where to start? This workshop series is for you! Our experienced staff will guide you in learning how to sew, with a focus on different skills each week.

Join the Evening Book Club for this month's selection: The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict. New members are always welcome! 

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories!
