Sign up for one of our four one-on-one Cricut sessions to get personalized training on the Cricut machine and software from our experienced staff! We will walk you through the basics and show you how to design/cut your own projects!

Join us for Chess Club at the library on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. No registration required. All skill levels welcome!

Storytime for children ages 2½-3½, accompanied by an adult. Stories, fingerplays, songs, a simple craft and time to play with toys! No registration.

Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

The Homework Center is available for New Britain teens in grades 6 to 12 on Mondays and Wednesdays (except on holidays or school closures), from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Join Librarian Cara for some bubbly fun! Together we will create our own bubble wands of all shapes and sizes to see how many kinds of bubbles we can make! This program is designed for kids ages 7-12.

songs, and a craft or a short film. No registration.

Join Librarian Cara to ring in the New Year at the first Baby Rave of 2026! Together we'll dance to baby techno, play with glow sticks and celebrate the start of a new year! No registration required.

One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.
