Come join our Senior Book Club!  This month's book is: In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.

Explore a craft with your neighbors! Bring that crochet project you have been working on, or the drawing you have been inspired to start. Connect with others and work on your project at the library.

Join the Evening Book Club for this month's selection, The Orphan Collector by Ellen Marie Wiseman. New members are always welcome! 

Storytime for children ages 3-5! Stories, fingerplays, songs, and a craft or a short film. No registration.

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories! 

One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.  

Join Librarian Cara and the Crafty Creatives Club to create an I Spy activity to take on the go! Using jars, rice and trinkets, we will create a fun activity for all ages!

Introducing the NBPL Crochet Club!

Short sessions with legal advisors at the library. Register to be assigned a 15-minute appointment with a lawyer; start times are 5:30, 5:45, 6:00, 6:15, and 6:30pm. Please plan to bring any relevant documentation to your session.

Ramblin' Dan Stevens performs a mix of traditional fingerstyle blues, americana and originals, and has entertained audiences throughout the United States, Germany, UK, Canada and US Virgin Islands.

Join us on Wednesdays for a dedicated hour of quiet study time. Teens are invited to stop in to read, draw, catch up on homework or participate in other quiet activities while we play some soothing and relaxing chill beats in the background!

Access Health CT Enrollment Help at New Britain Public Library!!

Join us at The Hive for part two of a workshop in honor of National Honey Month! Using air-dry clay and a variety of stamps, participants will create honey and nature-inspired artwork. 

Storytime for children ages 3-8! Children may be accompanied by an adult. Stories and a short film or craft. No registration.

Join the Children's Department for free play, story time, songs and more! This program is for children under age 3, with an adult. No registration required.

Are you interested in learning English? Do you want to practice your English pronunciation and conversation skills in a casual group setting?

Unwind and immerse yourself in a sound bath meditation! Wear comfortable clothes and relax as you are guided through a meditative experience.

Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
