Join Power of Pawns, a kid-focused chess group! Starting with a lesson on how to play, and ending with plenty of time to face off against other participants, we hope to see you there!

Storytime for children ages 2½-3½, accompanied by an adult. Stories, fingerplays, songs, a simple craft and time to play with toys! No registration.

Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Join Librarian Cara in learning how to make your very own magnetic slime to take home! Get ready for some gooey fun! This program is designed for kids ages 7-12.

Join Librarian Cara and Mr. Place for bubbly activities! Together we will read a story, try some bubble science and make bubble art! For kids ages 4-12. Registration required.

Come to the New Britain Public Library and be serenaded by the New Britain High School Madrigal Singers! They will be traveling around the library spreading holiday cheer!

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories!
