Event Details
Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. No registration or appointment needed.
Friendship Service Center assistance includes:
- Finding shelter (temporary or permanent), accessing showers and laundry services.
- Get assistance moving to family or friends in other states.
- Connect with low income housing.
- Receive referrals to housing search specialists.
- Getting connected to SNAP, SSI, SSDI benefits through the SOARS program.
- Getting help with unemployment and referred to employment services through American Job Center.
- Get help starting or updating a resume.
- Receiving referrals to mental health support.
- Receiving referrals to harm reduction support.
- Engaging in peer to peer conversations.
