Event Details

Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. No registration or appointment needed. 

Friendship Service Center assistance includes:

  • Finding shelter (temporary or permanent), accessing showers and laundry services.
    • Get assistance moving to family or friends in other states.
    • Connect with low income housing.
    • Receive referrals to housing search specialists.
  • Getting connected to SNAP, SSI, SSDI benefits through the SOARS program.
  • Getting help with unemployment and referred to employment services through American Job Center.
    • Get help starting or updating a resume.
  • Receiving referrals to mental health support.
  • Receiving referrals to harm reduction support.
  • Engaging in peer to peer conversations.
