Join Librarian Cara and Mr. Place to learn about all kinds of extreme weather! We will have a story time and short discussion followed by a themed activity! For kids ages 4-12, registration required.

Join the Evening Book Club for this month's selection, The Lost Family by Libby Copeland. New members are always welcome! 

Storytime for children ages 3-5! Stories, fingerplays, songs, and a craft or short film. No registration.

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories! 

One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.  

Join us on Wednesdays for a dedicated hour of quiet study time. Teens are invited to stop in to read, draw, catch up on homework or participate in other quiet activities while we play some soothing and relaxing chill beats in the background!

Join the Children's Department for free play, story time, songs and more! This program is for children under age 3, with an adult. No registration required.

Join Power of Pawns, a kid focused chess group! Starting with a lesson on how to play, and ending with plenty of time to face off against other participants, we hope to see you there!

Representatives from the Friendship Service Center's Hope Connection Center will be at the library to assist individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Individuals may meet with a representative on Mondays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
