One-on-one technology assistance is offered Mondays from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Individuals may register for up to two 30 minute sessions per month by calling 860-224-3155 x125 or stopping by the Information Desk.

Come out to storytime for children ages 2½-3½, accompanied by an adult! Build your child’s early literacy skills (talking, singing, reading, playing and writing) with stories, fingerplays, songs, a simple craft and time to play with toys.

The Homework Center is available for New Britain teens in grades 6 to 12 on Mondays and Wednesdays (except on holidays or school closures), from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Celebrate spring by designing your own pressed flower bookmark! Layer dried flowers, laminate your design, and create a beautiful handmade keepsake perfect for your next read. All materials provided!

Join Librarian Cara and Mr. Place to celebrate Spring and explore the great outdoors! Together we will have story time, a short discussion and head outside for activities! This program is for kids ages 4-12, and registration is required.

Join us for a fun and educational program for young voices to grow! Learn confident speaking, effective persuasion, and presentation skills. This program is for kids ages 9-12, and registration is required.

Do you have old photos that you would like to digitally preserve? VHS tapes you would like to convert to DVD? Old film negatives you would love to save? Library staff can work with you to save those precious memories!
